The cover of this book features the artwork of Cireliz Alaniz. The back picture was drawn when Cireliz was in 8th grade. The front cover is also by her, commissioned as an adult. As Cireliz was unable to finish the series, this cover will eventually be replaced with the work of Carlos Galvan, who drew the rest of the series. The back and second inscription will remain Cireliz'z.

Behind the Veil is the story of Emma Randolf, an incredibly romantic sixteen year old who consistently daydreams to escape her not so romantic farm life in Sappington, Missouri.  When she discovers that just on the other side of the veil is the very world she dreams of, full of knights and ladies and courtly manners, she is unprepared for the reality that this new world comes with a fierce battle between two competing kings.  Emma must now examine each kingdom to decide which she wants to fight for.  Through a series of tragedies, Emma must decide whether she is willing to risk pain for true love or embrace lies for personal safety.  The decision will lead her to the true king and the knight that will steal her heart.

Finding Frances (Book 2 in The Ideal Courtship Trilogy) picks up where Behind the Veil (Book 1) left off.  Frances, one of the maids rescued by King Areli, has fled his camp, determined to return to Phinneas despite all he has put her through.  Hoping to once again rescue Frances from his clutches, King Areli’s army is searching for the opportunity to attack Phinneas.  Meanwhile, back in Sappington, Michael has been given a special assignment with Emma by his side.  When each camp makes a plot to inflitrate the other, King Areli’s camp, Phinneas’s camp, and the town of Sappington are thrown together in a tale of intrigue as each tries to establish who can be trusted and who is willing to betray them.  Through it all, Frances will struggle to uncover the rightful king and decide where her loyalty truly belongs.

The front cover features the artwork of Carlos Galvan who incorporated a Not Lost Print of the woods in Hamstra Gardens (Wheatfield, Indiana). The back is a stock photo reference to the tree that allows individuals to pass "Behind the Veil."
The front cover is another amazing piece by Carlos Galvan. The back displays crossed swords, one with a red stone, one with a white, representing the two Kingdoms.

How do you protect your town from a war many of them don’t believe exists?  This is the task Emma and Michael are faced with.  Together, they must train an army, overcome those who would threaten both their army and their relationship, and fight against their most insidious adversary yet:  Deception.  The Battle of Sappington is the final instalment in the Ideal Courtship trilogy.
