Voice is one thing that sets each person apart from every other person on the planet. As a writer, I am well aware of the importance of words. There are a few things that will characterize any work I do:

1. Clean writing: Because I value words so deeply, I will not use words that are literally called Curse words. Additionally, descriptions of violence will never be gratuitous.
2. Purposeful: Each novel or story I write has a different theme and tone. For example, The Ideal Courtship Trilogy looks at relationships and identity. It shows the good and bad of relationships in hopes that they will enable others to make good choices. Don’t leave me Hangin’, on the other hand, is meant to be high interest, with stories ranging from government overthrow to heists to mythical creatures. None of these are meant to be examples to follow–they’re simply entertainment. But, their purpose is for teachers to be able to use to start students writing.
3. Committed to quality: While I am far from perfect, I will always strive to give my best. The joy of Draft2Digital is that I can continue to improve and fix any errors that may have slipped in.
4. Teaching: Whether it’s historical information, name meanings, or insight into places, each story should provide the reader something to learn. Check out the Behind the Scenes page for some of the special things you may have missed.

Not Lost Prints

The name for my photo collection comes from a quote by J. R. R. Tolkien: “Not all those who wander are lost.” I do a whole lot of wandering (which is where I take most of my photos), and I’m not lost–hence, the name. My goal in my photography is to evoke an experience. I love beautiful lighting, interesting features, and candid moments.
